Your move

A calmer move starts with a plan

Work backward from your confirmed move-in date and give every practical detail a place on the calendar.

Before you book the move

Build the plan around your signed agreement and the building’s arrangements. A preferred date on an enquiry is not confirmed access to an apartment.

  • Confirm possession, key collection and the move-in contact in writing.
  • Ask about elevator reservations, permitted moving hours and vehicle access.
  • Measure doorways and check how your largest furniture will enter.
02

Once your date is confirmed

Separate services included in the rent from those you need to arrange yourself. Keep the confirmation numbers in one place.

  • Arrange any electricity, internet or other services that are your responsibility.
  • Check your insurance needs and update relevant organizations with your new address.
  • Plan your first grocery trip, transit route and essential supplies.
03

On arrival

Make a brief record of the handover so practical questions can be resolved clearly.

  • Check keys, access devices, agreed inclusions and any promised work.
  • Record the condition of the apartment and communicate any issues promptly in writing.
  • Keep your lease, move-in communications and payment records together.
